Alpha lipoic acid is a sulfur-containing mitochondrial cofactor and antioxidant, available as racemic ALA or the natural R-enantiomer. Offered here as liposomal, phospholipid-complex, microencapsulated, micronized and application-specific grades to improve dispersion, stability and uptake.

How to Use / Dosage

• Typical daily intake: 300-600 mg/day (R-ALA 100-300 mg/day)
• Typical use level: 30-90% in capsule/tablet fills; liposomal grades 5-20%
• Formulation tip: Blend with standard lubricants (e.g. 0.5–1% magnesium stearate) and compress directly.
• Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
• Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Slightly soluble in water (sodium salt soluble); soluble in ethanol and oils

Storage & Handling

Store sealed under nitrogen at 2-8 °C or below 25 °C, protected from light, oxygen and moisture; liposomal liquids refrigerated, not frozen.. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).
