How to Use / Dosage
- Typical daily intake: 14–30 mg/day elemental iron (approx. 70–150 mg chelate at ~20% Fe)
- Typical use level: 0.1–1% in multimineral powders; 5–30% in iron capsule fills; 0.005–0.05% in fortified beverages
- Formulation tip: Calculate dosage on elemental mineral content (see CoA), not on total salt weight.
- Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
- Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Storage & Handling
Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place (below 25 °C) protected from moisture and light.. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).

Ferrous bisglycinate is GRAS (self-affirmed/notified) in the US and listed as a permitted iron source in EU supplements (Directive 2002/46/EC) and foods; FDA iron overdose warning applies. Verify maximum levels and FSSAI/Health Canada monographs in the destination market.
