Lecithin is a mixture of phospholipids, chiefly phosphatidylcholine, extracted from sunflower or soybean oil degumming. De-oiled lecithin powders at 95% acetone-insolubles are easy to handle. It is valued as an emulsifier, instantizing agent and choline-rich supplement ingredient.

How to Use / Dosage

  • Typical daily intake: 1-5 g/day
  • Typical use level: 0.1-2% as emulsifier/instantizer; 20-100% in phospholipid supplements
  • Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
  • Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Storage & Handling

Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from light and oxygen; nitrogen-flushed packs preferred. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).
