Liposomal Iron – Liposomal Powder (spray-dried)
Iron is an essential mineral for oxygen transport; liposomal iron (commonly ferric pyrophosphate in phospholipid) is valued for gentle GI tolerance and neutral taste. Offered here as liposomal, phospholipid-complex, microencapsulated, micronized and application-specific grades to improve dispersion, stability and uptake.
Spray-dried liposomal powder: the active is encapsulated in phospholipid vesicles to support stability, taste-masking and absorption.
GUTINS Liposomal Iron — Liposomal powder (spray-dried) is offered for manufacturers, formulators and brands. Specification: Assay per active; phospholipid carrier declared; form / technology: Liposomal powder (spray-dried); diet suitability: Verify phospholipid source.

Key Benefits
- Contributes to normal red blood cell formation
- Supports oxygen transport
- Reduces tiredness and fatigue
- Gentle on the stomach
- Low metallic taste for liquids
Uses & Applications
Typical applications: Capsules, sachets, liquids, functional beverages.
- Liposomal iron sachets and drops
- Women's health capsules
- Prenatal formulas
- Kids' liquids
- Sports nutrition
How to Use / Dosage
- Typical daily intake: 14-30 mg elemental iron/day
- Typical use level: Dose by elemental Fe: 5-30% in capsules/sachets; 0.5-3% in liposomal liquids
- Formulation tip: Blend gently; avoid high shear, high heat (>60 °C) and extreme pH, which can damage liposome structure.
- Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
- Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.
Solubility & Formulation
Disperses in water to re-form a liposomal suspension; do not dissolve in alcohol or strong surfactants, which disrupt the liposomes.
Storage & Handling
Store sealed at 15-25 °C, protected from light, heat and moisture; liposomal liquids refrigerated at 2-8 °C and not frozen.. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).
Regulatory Note
Ferric pyrophosphate and ferrous bisglycinate are permitted iron forms in EU, US and India; many markets require child-warning labelling. Verify in destination market.
