How to Use / Dosage

  • Typical daily intake: 10-20 mg/day, often with 2-4 mg zeaxanthin
  • Typical use level: Dose by active: beadlets 5-20% in tablets/capsules; 0.01-0.1% in beverages
  • Formulation tip: Declare active content and phospholipid ratio on labels; dose on active equivalent.
  • Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
  • Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Storage & Handling

Store sealed under nitrogen at 2-8 °C or below 25 °C, protected from light, oxygen and moisture; liposomal liquids refrigerated, not frozen.. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).

Lutein is GRAS in the US and an authorised food colour (E161b) and supplement ingredient in the EU (ADI 1 mg/kg bw). Verify in destination market.
