Magnesium bisglycinate is a chelate of magnesium bound to two glycine molecules. It is prized for high tolerability, minimal laxative effect and positioning in sleep and relaxation products.

How to Use / Dosage

• Typical daily intake: 200–400 mg/day elemental magnesium (compound provides approx. 11–20% (fully reacted ~14%; buffered grades higher) Mg)
• Typical use level: 30–95% in capsules and tablets; 5–30% in powders and gummies (application grades)
• Formulation tip: Add to liquid while stirring; ideal for stick packs and ready-to-mix powders.
• Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
• Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Storage & Handling

Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, dry place; protect from humidity and reseal after use.. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).

Permitted magnesium source in EU food supplements (Directive 2002/46/EC, Annex II) and GRAS/dietary ingredient in the US. Verify national maximum levels in the destination market.

• Check nitrogen/glycine ratio to confirm chelation
