How to Use / Dosage

  • Typical daily intake: 200–400 mg/day elemental magnesium (compound provides approx. 11–16% Mg)
  • Typical use level: 30–95% in capsules and tablets; 5–40% in effervescent and drink powders
  • Formulation tip: Calculate dosage on elemental mineral content (see CoA), not on total salt weight.
  • Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
  • Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Storage & Handling

Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, dry place; protect from humidity and reseal after use.. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).

Permitted magnesium source in EU food supplements (Directive 2002/46/EC, Annex II) and GRAS/dietary ingredient in the US. Verify national maximum levels in the destination market.

  • Excess may cause loose stools; caution with kidney impairment
  • Separate from tetracycline/quinolone antibiotics, bisphosphonates and levothyroxine by 2+ hours
  • Mild laxative effect at higher doses
  • Hydration state (anhydrous vs nonahydrate) changes Mg content – confirm on CoA
