Berberine is a yellow isoquinoline alkaloid found in barberry, goldenseal, Coptis and Phellodendron, supplied as the hydrochloride salt. Micronization improves dispersion and dissolution for this poorly absorbed compound. It is valued in glucose metabolism and metabolic health formulas.

How to Use / Dosage

• Typical daily intake: 500-1,500 mg/day in divided doses
• Typical use level: 20-90% in capsule fills and tablets; 0.5-5% in powders, sachets and dispersions
• Formulation tip: Fine particles can be dusty and cohesive; use flow aids where needed and handle with dust control.
• Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
• Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Storage & Handling
