How to Use / Dosage

• Typical daily intake: Extract delivering 200-900 mg/day cocoa flavanols
• Typical use level: 2-60% in capsule fills and tablets; 0.5-3% in beverages, bars and chocolate
• Formulation tip: Fine particles can be dusty and cohesive; use flow aids where needed and handle with dust control.
• Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
• Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Solubility & Formulation

Micronized for faster wetting and dispersion. Intrinsic solubility of the active: partly soluble in water and hydroalcoholic solutions; insoluble in oils; micronized and phospholipid forms disperse more readily

Storage & Handling

Store sealed in a cool, dry, dark place; micronized powders may cake - keep dry. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).

EU authorised Article 13(5) claim for cocoa flavanols (Barry Callebaut) is proprietary; US dietary ingredient. Cadmium limits apply in the EU; Prop 65 warnings may be needed for lead/cadmium. Phospholipid complex forms may be treated as new ingredients in some markets; confirm the status of the complexed form and lecithin source before launch.
