L-Tyrosine is a conditionally essential amino acid made from phenylalanine and used to build catecholamine neurotransmitters and thyroid hormones. It is popular in focus, stress-performance and pre-workout formulas; micronized grades improve dispersion. Fermentation-derived grades are suitable for vegan positioning.

How to Use / Dosage

• Typical daily intake: 500-2,000 mg/day (up to 150 mg/kg acutely in studies)
• Typical use level: 10-100% in capsule fills; 5-20% in pre-workout powders (micronized grades preferred)
• Formulation tip: Fine particles can be dusty and cohesive; use flow aids where needed and handle with dust control.
• Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
