How to Use / Dosage

  • Typical daily intake: 600-1200 mg/day
  • Typical use level: 40-95% in capsule/tablet fills; 1-5% in effervescents and drinks
  • Formulation tip: Avoid excessive compression force and high shear, which can rupture the microcapsules.
  • Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
  • Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Storage & Handling

Store sealed at 15-25 °C, protected from light, heat and moisture; liposomal liquids refrigerated at 2-8 °C and not frozen.. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).

Regulatory Note

In the US, FDA announced in 2022 enforcement discretion allowing NAC in dietary supplements despite prior drug approval. In the EU, NAC is largely regulated as a medicinal substance in several member states. Verify in destination market.
