How to Use / Dosage

  • Typical daily intake: 99–1,000 mg/day potassium from supplements (KCl ~52% K)
  • Typical use level: 0.1–0.5% in beverages; 20–50% of salt blends in sodium reduction; 5–30% in electrolyte powders
  • Formulation tip: Calculate dosage on elemental mineral content (see CoA), not on total salt weight.
  • Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
  • Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Storage & Handling

Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place (below 25 °C) protected from moisture and light.. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).

Permitted source of potassium in US dietary supplements and foods and listed under EU Directive 2002/46/EC and Regulation 1925/2006. Verify maximum levels and warning requirements in destination market. KCl is GRAS (21 CFR 184.1622) and EU additive E508.
