Resistant Starch Powder – RS2

Resistant starch escapes digestion in the small intestine and is fermented in the colon, notably to butyrate. RS2 is native granular high-amylose starch, while RS3 is retrograded starch that is more heat stable. Both are used to raise fibre and lower glycaemic impact.

GUTINS Resistant Starch — RS2 is offered for manufacturers, formulators and brands. Specification: RS2; form / technology: Powder / functional ingredient; diet suitability: Generally vegetarian.
