Selenium yeast 1000 ppm is inactivated Saccharomyces cerevisiae enriched with organic selenium, predominantly selenomethionine. The lower concentration eases accurate dosing and blending in multi-ingredient formulas.

Supplied as a mineral salt / chelate for supplement, premix and fortification use; elemental mineral content is declared on the CoA.

How to Use / Dosage

• Typical daily intake: 50–200 µg/day selenium (50–200 mg of 0.1% yeast)
• Typical use level: 1–10% in multivitamin tablets; 10–50% in selenium capsules
• Formulation tip: Calculate dosage on elemental mineral content (see CoA), not on total salt weight.
• Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
• Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Insoluble to dispersible in water; insoluble in oils

Storage & Handling

Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place (below 25 °C) protected from moisture and light.. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).

Selenium-enriched yeast is permitted in EU supplements (Directive 2002/46/EC Annex II) and used in US dietary supplements. Verify labelling in destination market.
