Sodium ascorbate is a buffered, non-acidic mineral salt of vitamin C, supplying about 89% ascorbic acid. It is used where a gentler, pH-neutral vitamin C is preferred.

How to Use / Dosage

• Typical daily intake: 100–1,000 mg/day as vitamin C
• Typical use level: 10–90% in tablets and capsules; 0.02–0.1% as antioxidant in meat and foods
• Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
• Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Freely soluble in water; slightly soluble in ethanol; insoluble in oils

Storage & Handling

Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, dry place away from light; reseal after use.. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).
