How to Use / Dosage

• Typical daily intake: 250-1,000 mg DHA/day (200 mg/day in pregnancy)
• Typical use level: Oil: 50-100% in softgels, 1-10% in emulsions; powder: 1-10% in formulas, foods and beverages
• Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
• Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Oil: miscible with oils, insoluble in water; powder: dispersible in water

Storage & Handling

Store sealed under nitrogen in a cool (below 15 °C), dark place; refrigerate after opening and use promptly. Powders: cool, dry, sealed.. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).

Schizochytrium oil is authorised as a novel food in the EU with specified uses/levels and holds GRAS status in the US; EU authorised claims for DHA (brain, vision) apply at 250 mg/day. Verify strain-specific authorisation in destination market.
