Lycopene is the red carotenoid of tomatoes, extracted from tomato oleoresin or produced by fermentation. Offered here as liposomal, phospholipid-complex, microencapsulated, micronized and application-specific grades to improve dispersion, stability and uptake.

How to Use / Dosage

• Typical daily intake: 10-30 mg/day
• Typical use level: Dose by active: beadlets 5-30% in tablets/capsules; oil suspensions 10-30% in softgels
• Formulation tip: Add late in the gummy process (below ~70 °C where possible) and include an overage for heat/pH losses.
• Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
• Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Dispersible in gummy syrup/gel systems.

Storage & Handling

Store sealed under nitrogen at 2-8 °C or below 25 °C, protected from light, oxygen and moisture; liposomal liquids refrigerated, not frozen.. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).

Regulatory Note

Tomato lycopene is GRAS in the US and authorised as E160d and in food supplements in the EU (ADI 0.5 mg/kg bw). Verify in destination market.
