How to Use / Dosage

• Typical daily intake: 1.5-3 g plant sterols/day with meals
• Typical use level: 5-50% in capsule fills and tablets; 0.5-8% in spreads, dairy and beverages (as sterol equivalents)
• Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
• Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Insoluble in water; slightly soluble in ethanol; soluble in oils when warm (esterified sterols readily fat-soluble)

Storage & Handling

Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place below 25 °C, protected from light and moisture.. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).

Plant sterols/stanols are authorised novel food ingredients in the EU with mandatory labelling and a health claim (1.5-3 g/day), and are GRAS in the US with an authorised heart-health claim. Verify destination market.
