Magnesium malate combines magnesium with malic acid, an intermediate of the citric acid cycle. It is positioned for energy, muscle comfort and daytime magnesium products.

Supplied as a mineral salt / chelate for supplement, premix and fortification use; elemental mineral content is declared on the CoA.

How to Use / Dosage

• Typical daily intake: 200–400 mg/day elemental magnesium (compound provides approx. 12–15% Mg)
• Typical use level: 30–95% in capsules and tablets; 5–30% in powders
• Formulation tip: Calculate dosage on elemental mineral content (see CoA), not on total salt weight.
• Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
• Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Slightly to sparingly soluble in water; insoluble in oils

Storage & Handling

Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, dry place; protect from humidity and reseal after use.. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).

Permitted magnesium source in EU food supplements (Directive 2002/46/EC, Annex II) and GRAS/dietary ingredient in the US. Verify national maximum levels in the destination market.
