Vitamin D3 is the fat-soluble form of vitamin D, produced commercially from lanolin (sheep wool) or lichen for vegan grades. Offered here as liposomal, phospholipid-complex, microencapsulated, micronized and application-specific grades to improve dispersion, stability and uptake.

Direct-compression grade engineered for flow and compressibility, suitable for tablet manufacture without wet granulation.

How to Use / Dosage

• Typical daily intake: 10-50 µg (400-2000 IU)/day
• Typical use level: Dose by IU: typically 0.1-2% of 100,000 IU/g powder in tablets/capsules; liposomal concentrates 1-5% in drops and shots
• Formulation tip: Blend with standard lubricants (e.g. 0.5–1% magnesium stearate) and compress directly.
• Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
• Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Insoluble in water; soluble in oils and ethanol; supplied as oil, beadlets or water-dispersible/liposomal powders

Storage & Handling

Store sealed under nitrogen at 2-8 °C or below 25 °C, protected from light, oxygen and moisture; liposomal liquids refrigerated, not frozen.. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).

Regulatory Note

Cholecalciferol is a permitted vitamin form in EU, US and FSSAI rules; EU maximums vary by member state. Lanolin grades are not vegan; verify in destination market.
