Monk fruit extract is obtained from the luo han guo fruit, a gourd cultivated in southern China. Its sweetness comes from mogrosides, chiefly mogroside V, which is roughly 250x sweeter than sucrose.

How to Use / Dosage

• Typical daily intake: Used as sweetener; no fixed supplemental dose
• Typical use level: 0.01-0.3% in beverages and foods depending on mogroside V content; 0.5-5% in tabletop blends
• Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
• Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Storage & Handling

Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place below 25 °C, protected from light and moisture.. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).

GRAS in the US (several GRAS notices) and approved in Canada, China, Japan and elsewhere; monk fruit extract is not yet authorised as a food ingredient in the EU/UK. Verify destination market.
