How to Use / Dosage

• Typical daily intake: 500-1,000 mg/day of 95% curcuminoids (often with piperine); lower doses for enhanced-bioavailability forms
• Typical use level: 10-50% in capsule/tablet fills; 0.1-1% in foods and beverages (as colour/functional)
• Formulation tip: Standardized extracts are best dosed on the basis of the marker assay stated on the CoA.
• Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
• Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Solubility & Formulation

Curcuminoids practically insoluble in water; soluble in ethanol, acetone and DMSO; slightly soluble in oils (water-dispersible grades disperse in water)

Storage & Handling

Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place below 25 °C, protected from light and moisture. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).

Regulatory Note

Turmeric is GRAS as a spice/colour in the US and widely sold as a dietary ingredient; EFSA set an ADI of 3 mg/kg bw/day for curcumin (E100). Some EU authorities advise limits on highly bioavailable curcumin; Verify permitted use and labelling in the destination market.
