Acacia fibre is the dried gum exudate of Acacia senegal and seyal trees, harvested mainly in the African Sahel. It is a highly soluble, low-viscosity fibre that is fermented slowly and well tolerated. It is offered at 90% soluble fibre and as instantized powder.

How to Use / Dosage

• Typical daily intake: 5-15 g/day
• Typical use level: 2-10% in beverages and bars; 50-100% in fibre powders; 5-20% as emulsifier/encapsulant
• Weigh accurately and pre-blend small quantities with a carrier (e.g. maltodextrin, MCC or rice flour) for uniform distribution.
• Final dosage should be based on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, the target serving size and the rules of your destination market.

Solubility & Formulation

Highly soluble in cold and hot water with low viscosity; insoluble in ethanol and oils

Storage & Handling

Store sealed in a cool, dry place; hygroscopic - protect from humidity to prevent caking. Keep container tightly closed; use clean, dry utensils. Shelf life is typically 24 months in unopened original packaging (see CoA).

Gum arabic is an EU food additive (E414), GRAS in the US and recognised by FDA as dietary fibre.
